5-tube Nixie Clock V3 (DIY Kit, with Perspex and Oak case)
Functionally identical to our popular IN8-2/IN-19 coppertop clock but much more affordable thanks to the lower cost IN-12 nixies and featuring a Perspex cylindrical case with solid oak end caps. Features: All interaction using IR proximity sensors - no buttons or remotes. GPS time sync 2400/4800/9600BPS (requires GPS module and a slight modification) Short-term time backup on power loss IR data link copies time and settings to other clocks nearby Data link can chain up to 3 clocks together into a single display Single alarm Display dim on/off settings Time accuracy calibration Individual tube brightness calibration Seconds tick Random seconds tick Fade/ripple/plain display modes Low power within original USB 500mA limit Cathode cleaning routine The clock length end to end is 146mm and the cylinder is 60mm.
Height including end caps is 66mm. Fitted with one IN-15 and four IN-12 nixies, the PCB is fully visible through the clear plastic case and held in place by two solid oak end caps. There are no external controls, all functions being controlled by our infrared proximity control system. The kit includes all parts required to build and use the clock, including a UK 5 volt power supply and USB lead.
Complete PCB assembly, case part sanding and polishing skills required though we can supply it already completed and ready to use for an extra charge.
