IN-18 Tubes are one of the biggest mass-produced Nixie Tubes. Nixie Clocks are one of the most beautiful and popular Vintage Clocks. Clock features Startup Tune, RGB backlight, USB port for updates. DIY KIT developed for Tubes Shield Board and Control Arduino Board.

Options include Tubes, Column, Arduino, Power Supply. Accessories include GPS Receiver and Remote.

DIY KIT is made for Arduino UNO and MEGA 2560 Control Boards. It allows you to write your own uniqe programs for the Arduino platform. All the latest Source codes are always available on our GitHub channel.

Shiled support 4 IN-18 Nixie Tubes [hh:mm:ss]. Temperature display (DS18B20) [Celsius or Fahrenheit]. GPS time synchronization (requires a standard GPS receiver, NMEA protocol, 5 volt power supply, included optionaly).

Operation via IR remote control (Remote control Sony RM-X151, included optionaly). No need refresh or update information on the tubes. The maximum possible brightness of the tubes. Date format: DD:MM:YY. Unique RGB LEDs backlight with 16,7 million colors.

Very easy to switch LEDS off/on. As alarm sound clock uses standard RTTTL (Nokia format) melodies, so You can easy change it.

Power On Self-Test (POST): LEDs test, tubes test, input voltage test, sound test. Integrated High Voltage Power supply: 150 - 220V. 3 PWM channels for RGB LEDs 8 bit per channel = 24bit = 16,7 million colors. It can be disabled in the menu (see manual).

Test points for testing, adjusting and controlling low and high voltage circuits. RTC (Real Time Clock) with Backup battery. 3 buttons on board to control. Potenciometer to adjust High Voltage. IR reciver TSOP4836 for IR remote controllers (may conflict with "Tone" library).

8 pcs of RGB SMD LEDs. Places for 2 column with 2 neon dots inside. Separate controls upper and lower dots. Recommended: 12V, 1-2A (center pin positive +). Nixie Tubes Shiled NCS318-4 PCB size: 170 mm x 53 mm x 20 mm.
